Happy 13 months!







Today Jacob is 13 months! I can't believe how fast time has flown bye.......loving every moment with the little guy!

At 13 months Jacob:
-Gets into everything!
-He loves to open and close everything, especially the dryer door.
-Loves to turn the knobs on the dishwasher!
-His mind is always going and he's constantly trying to figure out how things work.
-Still has a fascination with wheels!
-Would play in the water all day long if we'd let him.
-Loves to be outside!
-Signs a lot of words and tries to say a couple. Favorite sign is "Dog" and "More!" Says "Dog" really well.
-Is working on his manners! He knows how to sign "Please!"
-Loves his Daddy! He won't leave his Daddy's side when he's home!
-Can stand up all by himself and toddles around everywhere!
-Is trying to learn how to run!
-Is really good at putting shaped objects into the right slot in the box.
-Would choose a book over a ball right now.
-Loves to snuggle up to his doggy pillow!
-Wears a 2T sleeper at night!
-Loves to drag out all of his toys from his toy box.
-Takes two good naps (1-1.5 hr ea) during the day and sleeps 11 hrs at night.
-Follows simple commands: give me a kiss, let's take a bath (walks to the bathroom door), signs whatever we tell him to say.
-Knows where a lot of body parts are (tongue, head, ear, mouth, hair, fingers, etc).
-Recognizes a lot of his baby can read words (will sign them when he sees the word).
-Is built more like a 18 mo rather than a 13 mo.
-Loves to drink milk! Anytime he's thirsty or hungry, he'll go to the frig and try to open it. If you open it he'll grab his sippy cup with milk and take off with it!
-Is an amazing little boy that loves to learn, laugh, and make Mommy and Daddy's world go round!

Adam & Angie, Congradulations on the new arrival in early May. It was a nice surprise to receive a call from you at work. That was great news. Sorry I couldn't talk to long. Thanks for the pictures of Jacob with his big brother shirt. They were great!!!!. We love you all!! Hug and kisses for Jr. from us. We miss you all. We hope that you have a great season and stay well. We're praying that Angie has a good pregnancy. Mom and Dad! Grandma and Grandpa!!!
